Products I regret buying across time

I’d like to start by saying cool trends and social media can influence most of us to buy a lot of products and in today’s post I will give you my opinion about 3 products that I regret having purchased because of social media. Well, I’ll talk mostly about 2 hair products and one face product.
*If they did not work for me as expected it doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t work for you. 😉

Since it has been long time-no see, let’s go ahead and find out more about these products:

Aussie Conditioner Repair Miracle

Aussie Repair Miracle Conditioner is said to be used for damaged and dry hair, that needs additional help. At the time, when I bought it, my hair was suffering and was indeed extremely dry, so having heard so much about Aussie, I decided to give it a try. I was a bit worried since it claimed to be rich in oils and leave the hair smooth, because I didn’t want to have it make my hair even oilier.  However, I can confirm, it wasn’t the case. It did leave the hair a bit shiny and I enjoyed the smell, but other than that, there wasn’t a significant improvement I saw in my hair.
The conditioner has a cream texture, and it is meant to be used on all hair types. The main ingredients are Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, and Macadamia Oil. Overall, I liked the fact the hair looked a bit shiny, but it did not do much and some ingredients made it questionable to continue to use. So for this very reason, I stopped using it and it made it to this list.  🙁

Pantene hair biology rejuvenating mask

By having  enjoyed Pantene’s hair biology Revitalize Shampoo so much and I thought that their masks would work just as great.
Pantene Hair Biology Mask Full & Vibrant was the one that caught my attention promising to take care of damaged hair. It is paraben and mineral-oil-free, but my choice was especially for it being mainly used for thin hair.

Unfortunately, this hair mask did not work as expected for me. I tried to make it work in different ways, but the result ended up being the same…  me having very frizzy and tangled hair. At first, I thought I was doing something wrong, but not quite… This hair mask did not work for me. I regret purchasing it and let’s say it was a poor choice. If you used this one, let me know how it worked for you.

Ivatherm Rosederm

Ivatherm is a Romanian brand, so having found something to use for sensitive skin, I had hope.
Rosederm Anti-Redness Micellar Lotion was an interesting buy for me because I have seen some reviews online and I was looking for something to replace my Rilastil micellar water, which you can read more about here. I thought this could be a nice choice, but it did disappoint me when it came to eye makeup removal. It is recommended for sensitive skin, but did not remove well the eye makeup, which led to me using an additional product, especially for the eye area. If you can go past this, then this product is really nice for sensitive skin prone to rosacea.

Other than that, Ivatherm has some other wonderful products as well.

I hope you found this blog post helpful and it gave you some ideas if you wanted to try these products. Please let me know if you used any of them and how they worked for you!

If not, what are some products that you bought and regret in doing so? Let me know in the comments! 💕
