Today’s post covers an in depth review for the Essence Lash and brow gel, which caused rather diverse opinions. While some would repurchase it, other wouldn’t. Multitasking products are always in search and are promising to streamline your routine and save you time.
Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara is a budget-friendly product that claims to be a one-stop shop for both brow taming and lash enhancement. Too real to be true? Well in order to find out, keep reading as we deep dive into details.
Starting with the packaging, it comes in a plastic tube, similar to a mascara, and a plastic wand attached to the lid. I like the idea behind the clear theme packaging, even if it doesn’t look luxurious.
It has 9 ml of product, which I believe it is a decent amount for this product that should last you.
Essence Lash & Brow gel has no shades as it is a clear gel. The only downside is that the wand would capture every other product that you used before applying it, which would also mix with the product content, and give the product a dirty look. However if you were to apply it to bare brows, you should not have any problem.
The formula… oh well… I must admit I am not a fan of it and it did not work for me as expected. It is very watery, it was not long lasting, and it made my eyebrows look as if they were covered with water. Maybe my application was not good, but it did feel a bit too much of a product. On my lashes it kind of did the same. I could not see a major difference. I love Essence products and I use them on the daily basis, but unfortunately, this brow product was not it… at least in my case. Also, a big plus is that the formula is vegan.
While the Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara has an interesting concept, it didn’t quite deliver on its promises for both brows and lashes.
There are other products you might want to explore if you are looking for an eyebrow gel, as this one might not be the hero we are looking for.
