A little improvement goes a long way

Happy New Year! 🎉🎊

I hope you had lovely holidays! ❤️

Probably one of the hardest choices you will have to make would have to be to recognize there is still room for improvement. I am a firm believer that we have to strive to be better versions of ourselves. Lately, I have looked a bit more in depth at my life and the improvements I want to make are really not huge changes, but little ones that I am sure will better myself. As 2020 came to an end it’s time to draw the line and analyze. Needless to say, 2020 was a different year for all of us, and it proved us that nothing can go as planned. But still, this can’t stop us to set some personal goals. 😊

Organize my time better

Well it is not a surprise that this is my first goal… as you may already know by now, my time management skills are not doing well. Hopefully, in 2021 I can finally get the hang of it and not feeling like I am running out of time for everything or missing deadlines. 2020 taught me that time is precious and it should not be wasted. No more waiting for tomorrow to do what I planned to do. Time is sacred, fleeting, and a teacher.

Learn new skills

I admit that I might have a problem when it comes to this one, because I am having a hard time to understand that I can be a beginner at something, completely mess it up, and that is not a problem. But for sure, I will work to improve and develop new skills this year.

More blogging

Okay…. Firstly, I must admit that was my plan for 2020, but with all the craziness, my plan was rerouted. Secondly, I admit that my priorities have changed a little bit lately… But I have lots of ideas and many articles planned. So… stay close by! 😉

More appreciation

We tend to be so caught up in everything we are doing that we forget to tell or remind our families and friends how thankful we are for them. This would be a great time to talk more with them and remind them how important they are to us.

Gratitude

Even if our schedules are hectic, we are busy and we are completely overbooked, this year we should be more appreciative. I plan to be more grateful this year, not only for what I already have, but also for what is taken to arrive in my way. I will be grounded in a grateful living! 😊

These are some improvements, which I intend to work on this year. Times are changing, but this year we should feel more present, less worried, hopeful, patient, peaceful, and courageous!

Wishing you an incredible year! ❤️
