Hello there! It’s day 4 of Blogmas and since the festive season it’s upon us we have to search for inspiration and a little help for our decorating process. In the midst of it all, our Christmas tree is always catching everyone’s eyes. This means that a special attention should be dedicated to it whether you’re decorating it for the very first time or just want to switch things up. Holiday decorating is all about reflecting the warmth and the cheer this season brings and here is some inspiration.
Red and White
Nothing screams Christmas more than these 2 colours together! They are traditional and simple and work wonders for the entire setup.
Monochromatic look
A monochromatic Christmas tree will make decorating easier, since coordinating the entire design around one colour will make a more cohesive look. Your vision will be building much easier.
White and snowy
An all white Christmas tree would be a statement and it will offer a modern and chic look. You can pair your ornaments with different ribbons and it can be very elegant as well.
Red and Gold
Red and Gold ornaments are absolutely stunning as well as an expected holiday color scheme you cannot go wrong with. It is the one I have opted for quite some time now. I consider it timeless and just a beautiful combination and contrast.
Nature inspired
Being closer to nature can be simply done by decorating your Christmas Tree with ornaments made of wood, such as deer, owls and so on. They are so cute and it will make your Christmas tree stand out for this holiday.
Vibrant colours
Picking vibrant colours for the tree is rather a non-traditional move and the contrasts created will definitely catch the attention of your guests. The bonus will be that they would want to take photos of it guaranteed.
Silver
A silver Christmas tree will look more elegant than you expect it to. The only silver colour scheme will make a statement to remember. From my point of view, this is timeless.
Non-Traditional
This not so typical Christmas tree is an unforgettable one. If you did not have the time to go and pick a tree, well, you can easily build your own with lights and ornaments on your wall. Besides this, it can be your little DIY project.
The classic
This year I have chosen to go for the one-of-a-kind decorations, those who truly showcase and evoke a familiar moment in time from the past family’s memories. It is unique and it is always dear to me to take a look at the Christmas tree and remember those memories. What I love about this is that you don’t necessarily need a specific theme, as long as these ornaments bring you joy. 💕
I hope you found this article helpful and please do share with me how you decided to decorate your Christmas tree this holiday season and what is your favourite style! See you tomorrow with a new blog post!
