Hello, my beautiful friends!
In today’s post, we’ll talk about a statement in beauty products, namely concealer.
Concealer is that one particular step in my make-up routine I never skip, no matter the season. It is such a great product, even when I am going for a no make-up look, as well as when I am going for a full glam one. Nowadays, many brands have a lot of shades and formulas for this product and they all may vary.
As a beauty product, concealer is mainly used to cover blemishes, and uneven skin tones, blend away the darkness under the eyes, and as an eyeshadow primer. For this very reason, it was a challenge for me to find the perfect formula along with the perfect shade (all at the perfect price).
I have been asked lately what would be some affordable concealers worth trying, so look no further, because I have three different options you can try! ☺
Catrice liquid camouflage councealer
This is a very affordable concealer and its coverage is light to medium. It has a doe foot applicator so you can quickly apply it. At the same time, it has a thin consistency, long resisting formula (around 8 hours from what I have noticed), matte finish and it is waterproof. Also, it dries easily, and it won’t move around. I have it in the shade 010 Porcellain and it has a pink undertone, which matches perfectly my skin (if you have light skin, this would be the shade you might want to try) and it is waterproof. It offers a great deal for the price! You might want to try it!
Maybelline Fit me concealer
Fit Me is just an amazing concealer and I keep on repurchasing it. It has a buildable texture, and long-lasting formula, although it has light coverage. On the other hand, it has a limited shade range, so you might have a little bit of trouble with it. This concealer has a sponge-tip applicator, which means you will have to apply it with a sponge, a brush, or your fingers. It does stay put once you set it and it will cover the blemishes as well as lighten the under-eyes area.
Overall, it is a concealer that does work wonders and it’s worth purchasing.
Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define
Makeup Revolution’s concealer must be one of my favorites since I discovered it, because it is creamy, and dries down to be very matte, but you should know it is not a full coverage one (more like medium coverage). It has a big doe foot applicator, which makes the application a little easier. This concealer lasts for quite some hours and in my case, it did not crease.
It comes in 25 shades, which allows you to find the right one for you. The bonus is that it has a natural finish! I have purchased it for the 3rd time now. This one reminded me a little bit of Tarte’s shape tape concealer in terms of consistency and it may just be a dupe for it.
Have you used any of these concealers? Have you tried others I should try and are affordable? Let me know in the comments below.
